CPAC attendees handed a “7-pt. plan to restore Donald J. Trump in days, not years,” which involves installing Trump as speaker and ousting Biden & Harris. It is more entertainment provided by the host of The Apprentice.
Many attendees are taking this as a serious happening.
My questions:
To Matt Masterson, the review of 2020 ballots from Maricopa County, Ariz., that’s underway is “performance art” or “a clown show,” and definitely “a waste of taxpayer money” reports NPR.
Copies of some of the voting system data being analyzed might not still be in Arizona at all. A report from CNN last week confirmed that the data had been shipped more than a thousand miles away, to Montana via truck.
Every other news media outlet from the New York Times to ABC News to the Washington Post are calling this “audit” a charade.
We can accurately guess the outcome will be. The Arizona Republicans will claim proof of a stolen election. Their next step will be to present their proof to the courts. If they do not do that the exercise will be pointless.
Donald Trump believes he will be reinstated as president as soon as August. That would wake extraordinary acts by the Supreme Court.
The problem for Trump is that after the president and vice president cannot serve the next in line is the Speaker of the House.
Donald Trump is a master at reality show entertainment. His television program The Apprentice was lasted 14 seasons. It only stopped when he announced his candidacy for president. The Arizona audit is just an extension his ability to entertain. If the auditors don’t find fraud will they be fired?
To lighten things up think about Red Skelton. There is a web site about his quirky characters. He always had me laughing.
The parade was canceled last year and again this year due to the pandemic. I would go every year or two just to see what was new. There really was not too much to see. Various groups of scouts and children’s clubs marched down the main boulevard and adults rode in cars or on trucks. It is doubtful that the children understood the meaning of the holiday. Elected people rode in cars as they fulfilled their duty. Fire engines and police motor cycles were driven down the street.
It’s all meant to show that we are one people that remembers those who lost their lives in wars past and present. This was the last parade I went to see, 2017
The primary speech at a reviewing stand called for the support of Christian values in America. I was horrified.
A solemn day made into a fun event.
The Harry and Meghan interview was great entertainment. Maybe a better title might be “When Harry met Meghan.”
The Meghan Markle and Prince Harry interview online on CBS, CBS.com and Paramount+ was a brilliant acting performance that would at least gain Meghan a nomination if not an award for best dramatic performance in a made for television program. The choreographics were perfect. The stage setting was perfect.
Meghan convinced the world that she was shunned by the United Kingdom royalty. The evidence? There was none. It was her words and the way she delivered them that convinced everyone that every word she said was the truth.
Remember she was a successful actress. She played Rachel Zane on Suits for seven seasons, finally calling it quits in 2018. But that wasn’t her only role.
She had many others including Hallmark’s expansion of their iconic Christmas programming with “When Sparks Fly,” a made-for-television film centered around the Fourth of July. Markle starred in the movie as Amy Peterson, a journalist who was assigned a story about her hometown. When Amy heads home for the holiday, she (naturally) “discovers the life and love she left behind are exactly what she’s been missing.”
It’s reported that Meghan and Harry were not paid for the Oprah interview. I don’t believe it. Oprah’s film company, called Harpo Productions, set up the interview and then hawked it to the networks. The made a reported $8 million for the rights selling to CBS. Meghan and Harry have been cut off from their royal allowance. They need the money to live on their fabulous estate.
The public in all the English speaking nations (the Commonwealth) ate this up.
Meghan will undoubtedly go on to more acting performances. Harry will likely sit on his princely ass and do whatever princes do.
Bill Gates Daughter Jennifer Gates posted this message on her Instagram page. She definitely has a sense of humor.
It is a classic haters scenario. All problems in the world are to be blamed on the Jews.

The Republican Jewish Coalition said the latest revelation about anti-Semitic conspiracy theories embraced by Georgia Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene are “indefensible and unacceptable.”
In this instance it is part of the QAnon conspiracy theory group.
The best thing we can do is laugh at Greene’s nonsense.

In today’s media driven world Donald Trump is the light. Even as his role as president of the United States will likely end on January 20, 2021 the 
media continues to attend his rallies and columnists continue to write about his behavior. I counted ten articles about his actions on this morning’s CNN web site. Two more on the NYT web site and another four offered by the Washington Post.
The fascination is obvious to me. Donald Trump provides everyone an interesting exciting alternate reality. It’s something like a Twilight Zone reality.
