Proud to be White Mister!

Proud to be White!

I have been wondering about why Whites are racists, and no other race is……

Proud to be White
Michael Richards makes his point…
Michael Richards better known as Kramer from TVs Seinfeld does make a good point.

This was his defense speech in court after making racial comments in his comedy act.
He makes some very
interesting points…

Someone finally said it. How many are actually paying attention to this?

There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, Arab Americans, etc.
And then there are just Americans..
You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction.

You call me ‘White boy,’ ‘Cracker,’ ‘Honkey,’ ‘Whitey,’ ‘Caveman’… And that’s OK…
But when I call you, Nigger, Kike, Towel head,
Sand-nigger, Camel Jockey, Beaner, Gook, or Chink .. You call me a racist.

You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you….
So why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to
live?

You have the United Negro College Fund. You have Martin Luther King Day.
You have Black History Month.

You h
ave Cesar Chavez Day.
You have Yom Hashoah.

You have Ma’uled
Al-Nabi.
You have the NAACP.

You have BET….

If we had WET (White Entertainment Television), we’d be racists.

If we had a White Pride Day, you would call us racists.

If we had White History Month, we’d be racists.

If we had any organization for only whites to ‘advance’ OUR lives, we’d be racists.

We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce.
Wonder who pays for
that??

A white woman could not be in the Miss Black American pageant, but any color can be in the Miss America pageant.
If we had a college fund
that only gave white students scholarships… You know we’d be racists.

There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US
Yet if there were
‘White colleges’, that would be a racist college.

In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights.
If we
marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists.

You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you’re not afraid to announce it.
But when we announce our white
pride, you call us racists.

You rob us, car jack us, and shoot at us.
But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist.

I am proud…… But you call me a racist.

Why is it that only whites can be racists??

There
is nothing improper about this e-mail…
Let’s see which of you are
proud enough to send it on.
I sadly don’t think many will.

That’s why we have LOST most of OUR RIGHTS in this country.
We won’t stand up for ourselves!

BE PROUD TO BE WHITE!

It’s not a crime
YET….But getting very close!

Women as Chattel

Men reading this column.  Are you out of your F*#%$@g minds?

Many American Men are one step away from their Muslim Arabic brethren!

Oxford Street, London UK - notice women wearing burqa with face covering niqab
Oxford Street, London UK – notice women wearing burqa with face covering niqab

The world has been controlled by men.  In the past women were considered chattel (things owned other than real property (real estate).  Men decided every action and every behavior of the women in their lives.  Thus An all-male panel testifying before Congress on birth control.  The lingering behavior of an American congressional, all-male panel, that doesn’t include one doctor. When Democrats proposed women to be on the panel, they were told the women weren’t “qualified.”

On our journey to Europe we spent five nights in London.  Our stay there was at the Cumberland Hotel.  The hotel is a very short block from the Marble Arch and the Oxford Street shopping area.

To our surprise the hotel guests were at least 90% Muslim.  At least one quarter of the women were dressed in burqas with the face covering niqab.  For the most part the women on the lifts (elevators) looked at the floor during their ride to their rooms.

When we went to the London Eye the buying ticket line was a 30 minute wait.  My wife did not need to accompany me in the line and she found a seat while I waited in line.  Behind me were a couple from Saudi Arabia waiting to buy the tickets.  I spoke to the husband but the wife never uttered a word during that wait accept her whispered words to her husband.  We know the reason. Women are not to go unescorted anywhere and never speak to another man.

The women are treated like chattel in Arabic countries.  Most of us say that is terrible.  Many Americans say that is not part of our Western culture. However, some of us in the USA want to tell women how to care for their bodies.  How to behave. How to dress.  And most significantly decide under what conditions they can obtain an abortion.

Michael Hulshof-Schmidt’s WordPress blog tells of Lousiana’s “17th Century” attitude towards women of all ages.  Mitt Romney says that he is in agreement with Paul Ryan on abortion/conception laws.  Ryan would deny abortion under all circumstances and declare that an abortion is murder.

“Rick Santorum’s biggest financial backer — and in the world of big-money politics, this means this guy has bucks, which in the US means he has power — “joked” that women should use aspirin as birth control.”

What a great country!  Freedom for all – as long as you are a man!!

A Trip to Europe

We, my wife and I, left for London England on August 21 for our holiday to London and Paris. It was not the same as going on a safari but since we had never traveled to Europe before this was a special event in our lives.

While the trip did not take us away from civilization it did educate us on the way others live in their cities. We did not suffer from any cultural shock. Western Europe is really very similar to the USA. America’s roots are based upon European culture and behavioral differences are minor.

The single prominent difference is the presence of Muslims. That is fact is enforced by the high number of woman dressed in burqas. Since France introduced its burqa ban in April there have been violent attacks on women wearing the niqab. Niqab is the term used to refer to the piece of cloth which covers the face, worn by some Muslim women.

Still in Paris, women are wearing the burqa without the niqab as they walk down the Champs-Elysees. That is not the case in London, where all manner of dress is seen.

In the next few days I will be retelling more details of our trip.

In summary it was an extraordinary experience. I am grateful to have had the experience.

Special Income Tax Rates for the Very Wealthy

Everyone should be taxed at the same rate. There should be no deductions or allowances for any thing!

Steve Rattner, President Barack Obama’s former car czar, appeared on Fareed Zakaria’s GPS a few week ago. (Steven Rattner is Chairman of Willett Advisors LLC, the investment arm for New York Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg’s personal and philanthropic assets.) Mr. Rattner said that one of the reasons Mitt Romney won’t release his income tax returns is his legal but highly unusual asset protection.

Romney has a $100 million IRA and off shore accounts that avoid US income tax. Rattner pointed out that many rich people pay income tax at the 35% rate while there is a group that pay at the much lower rates. Rattner said he didn’t think the American people would be too happy with this situation. I certainly am not happy!

There is always going to be a very rich part of this society. I don’t know the reason but it was confirmed by Vilfredo Pareto (15 July 1848 – 19 August 1923). He made several important contributions to economics, particularly in the study of income distribution and in the analysis of individuals’ choices. The Pareto principle was named after him and built on observations of his such as that 80% of the land in Italy was owned by 20% of the population. Today in the USA 85% of America’s wealth is owned by 20% of the population (quite close to Pareto’s 80-20 theory).

What I do not accept is the idea that the wealthiest among us pay 15% in income taxes.

This is nothing about Jealously.  This is about fairness.

There is no question that rich people spend more money on stuff. The question is: Should rich people whose earnings are the result of investments be taxed on their income at 15% (or less if Paul Ryan has his way) than people whose earnings are based upon a salary?

Personally I believe everyone should pay income taxes at the same graduated rate no matter what the source of the income. No one should be given any allowances or deductions for ANYTHING. You want a wife, more kids – go for it – just don’t expect any help from the government.

Moving Into the City

For the first time in a century, most of America’s largest cities are growing at a faster rate than their surrounding suburbs.  Just Google “relocating from the suburbs to the inner city” and you will find multiple articles including this Hartford Courant news item with the headline:  Great Reversion: Boomers and millennials are coming back to urban America. There is this headline on nbc.com: Cities grow more than suburbs, first time in 100 years.

What is going on is a realization by people of all ages that central areas of cities have more things to do and see (art galleries, theaters, shopping), easier cheaper transportation, faster access to health care, educational opportunities, and some intriguing homes.  On top all this there are no more hour long commutes.

Even Los Angeles has seen a resurgence in central city population growth.  Old and mostly abandoned department stores in the Downtown and Hollywood area still have the same exteriors but have been remodeled into apartments and lofts.  Apartment house developments are along major boulevards and adjoining streets throughout the west side all the way to Venice Beach and Santa   Monica.  Central Long Beach has become a major redevelopment area on the southern perimeter of the city.

San Diego Montage
San Diego Montage

San Diego, my favorite city, has seen a rebuilt central city dominated by high rise condo and apartment developments.  Plenty of night life in the Gas Lamp district, a world class zoo, sports stadiums, and museums that are second to none.  Their light rail and bus system is outstanding.  Don’t send your children to their universities – they won’t return home; even back to Los Angeles.

Businessweek.com evaluated 100 of the country’s largest cities based on 16 criteria, which include: the number of restaurants, bars, and museums per capita; the number of colleges, libraries, and professional sports teams.  Those are some of the reasons living in major metropolitan areas outweighs the congestion and noise that is prevalent.  While you may not agree with their rankings (I don’t) the descriptions tell you the reasons that the suburbs are no longer the place to live.

Senseless Penalty of Penn State

At the outset let me say that I left Pennsylvania at the age of 10.  I rarely watch any football games.  The penalties against Penn State will not effect me one tiny bit.

The NCAA “erased 14 years of victories, wiping out 111 of Paterno’s wins and stripping him of his standing as the most successful coach in the history of big-time college football.” This was part of an Associated Press report today.

It makes no sense.  I am not defending the behavior of Jerry Sandusky, Joe Paterno or anyone else at Penn State.  I am defending the players on the Penn State football squad.  There is no evidence that Few of those players were involved or even knew about the child abuse.  Those players were on football fields and they won the games fairly.  No one disputes this fact.  The $60 million fines are debatable.  The four-year ban from postseason play will send a message to all universities.  Removing the success records of the 111 wins is a penalty against the players not the school.

Unfortunately the NCAA wants to show that it has the power to manage the behavior of everyone associated with amateur sports.  If only the NCAA was as concerned about on field football injuries.

The USA is not Alone in the Issue of Gun Violence

From the Toronto Star Newspaper web site.

Published on Wednesday July 18, 2012

On Monday night, Toronto was rocked by a tragic act of gun violence — two innocent bystanders murdered, many others injured. Importantly, this crime occurred in the wake of similar public incidents, including the recent Eaton Centre shooting.

These crimes have led to a number of seemingly contradictory statements by public officials. Police Chief Bill Blair, for example, called the Scarborough shooting unprecedented and the worst case of gun violence in North America. By contrast, Mayor Rob Ford stated that despite the recent spate of gun violence, Toronto remains the safest city in the world. Neither statement is true.

Read the rest of the article here.

We all remember the killing in Norway where a man is accused of killing 77 people in a bomb-and-gun rampage in Norway last summer said his actions were justified to save the country from multicultural forces.  Read the CNN report here.

“The National Rifle Association is America’s foremost defender of Second Amendment rights. Since its inception in 1871.”  Those are the first words you see when Googling the organization’s name.  I am impressed with the usual first words out of someone’s mouth in defending their right to bare arms.  “It’s my second Amendment rights.” I am not impressed with the concept that everyone has the right to buy all the arms they want.

The killing at the movie theater in Aurora, Colorado will be a milestone event.  Now crazy people will see that they can do their deeds at theaters and shopping centers without fear of retribution.

It would be a battle to amend their “rights.” Gerry Gray, a Canadian, posted this explanation of their limits to weapon access in his country.  His comments can be read at http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1057&message=42083981

I shouldn’t get involved because I live in Canada but look at us. Our gun laws are tightening at the whim of government. In Canada……….
You cannot get a carry permit for a handgun for the purpose of self defense.
It is against the law to have tasers or mace for self defense.
Handguns with 4 inch barrels and smaller are prohibited.
Certain calibers are prohibited. ===== .25 for example
Rifles or shotguns barrel length smaller than 18 inches are prohibited.
Automatics of any kind are prohibited.
A citizen cannot carry a handgun on the street. etc etc etc

I think USA is in real danger of going the same route as Australia, UK, Canada…..
Some interesting youtube for USA……..

America’s Love of Guns

No one is concerned about the consequences of allowing everyone to own multiple weapons even those who are not fit psychologically, mentally, or physically to handle the responsibility.

It wasn’t too long ago that Congresswoman Gabby Giffords was the target of an attack by a deranged gunman.  Everyone remembers the tragedy at Columbine High   School in Littlerock, Colorado.  Now 71 people are killed or wounded by another madman.  Still no one says, “Enough.”  The American Bar Association posts on its website “The rate of death from firearms in the United States is eight times higher than that in its economic counterparts in other parts of the world.”  Bowing down to the Second Amendment and the NRA is an inexplicable behavior.

The Constitution was written in 1787.  What were the weapons of 1776 and still in use in 1787? Artillery and Gun boats??? Wrong!!! The historically correct answer is: Flintlock pistols and Flintlock Muskets.

There were no cars, no telephones and no railroads.  The industrial revolution was not even an idea.  So today in the 21st century we hold this document, the Constitution, as if it was handed down by Moses.  Unless you think the country will be the victim of a new king or a dictator what exactly is the purpose of the Second Amendment?  Precisely why would anyone need to own 2 Glock pistols, a semi-automatic rifle, a shot-gun and 6,000 rounds of ammunition?  Well, there might be a reason – you want to kill a theater full of people for no particular reason.

Lifestyle

Congratulations to Weight Watchers for convincing millions of overweight people that their solution is a change of Lifestyle.  Weight Loss Boss by David Kirchhoff, the CEO of Weight Watchers International, is all about Lifestyle.  My lovely wife, who needs to lose at least another 18 pounds, contends that her revised eating habits are all about Lifestyle.  Losing weight and keeping it off is not my idea of a Lifestyle.

I like the Wikipedia definition. Lifestyle (sociology), the way a person lives to one’s own ability. Individual identity. A lifestyle typically reflects an individual’s attitudes, values or world view. Therefore, a lifestyle is a means of forging a sense of self and to create cultural symbols that resonate with personal identity.

The Free Dictionary offers a concise easy to understand definition.  A way of life or style of living that reflects the attitudes and values of a person or group.

Microsoft Word provides a definition by reading its Thesaurus. Way of life, Existence, Standard of living, Routine, Life, Daily life, Everyday life, Means.

What is the Lifestyle of the rich and famous? Robin Leach spotlighted the eccentricities and excesses of a different member of the “rich and famous” each week from 1984 to 1995.

My Lifestyle is doing the things I like to do without having a boss.  It’s writing in this blog and walking or riding around taking pictures of unusual things.

I AM TRULY VERY FORTUNATE.

What’s your Lifestyle?
