Aaron Sorkin is a really outstanding script writer. He wrote the scripts for “West Wing.”
This segment touches a nerve because it is based upon real facts. It is definitely thought provoking. However as someone commented after watching this youtube clip. In the past 112 years no other nation has been so outstanding.

Sadly we have become first at being the worst. For example we have the highest inequality of wealth in the world, second only to Uganda. Our schools and infrastructure are sinking to 3rd world levels.
We are the only industrialized country that does not provide health care for their citizens. We are the only country not to sign the UN contract for limiting our impact on the enviroment. That said, i think that we still have what it takes to once more be great, we just have to get the GOP and corporate dollar out of our government
