If you never watch another video, please watch this one.  The
speaker is an Indian Muslim who is warning us to wake up.  He has tremendous
courage and pulls no punches on what is happening with Islamic fascism.  Make
sure you listen to the end of the tape where he says we now have three members
of the Muslim Brotherhood in the White House (and names them).

He is elderly and in a wheel chair recovering from cancer treatments – perhaps that’s
why he has the courage to speak out.  This is probably one of the most important
messages of our day.

The Limits of Free Speech

We all know that yelling “Fire” in a theater is not permitted.  That would be an effort to cause panic and catastrophe.  What if you demonstrate against a speaker with the intent of disrupting his right to speak?  That was the case of a group called ‘Irvine 11.’ The group was reduced to 10. 

At a UCI(University of California Irvine) speech by the Israeli ambassador to the United States the group of pro Palestinian demonstrators made every attempt to stop the presentation.  That was an act intended to deny the ambassador his right to speak.  The jury found the accused guilty.   Will they appeal this case?  That remains to be seen.

Recall the religious group that was demonstrating at the funerals of soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.  When the Supreme Court ruled in March that an antiwar church had a constitutional right to protest outside a military funeral, California lawmakers voted overwhelmingly to ban pickets within 1,000 feet of any funeral.

These decisions by the Supreme Court, in my opinon, are incorrect.  Everyone should have the right of free assembly.  Demonstrators infringe on that right.

The Tenth Anniversary of 9-11

We all remember where we were on that terrible day.  There are no words or pictures or ceremonies that will heal the personal wounds that were caused by the killing of almost three thousand people.

Television, news magazines, and newspapers have beaten us over the head with non-stop discussions, ceremonies and interviews.  It has been ad nauseam repetition.  It’s as if no one is aware of what had happened and the media needs to keep retelling the same thing over and over.    

Unfortunately the cost to all Americans is great.  We have spent lives and money chasing an enemy that will not be easily stopped.  Our government has done a mediocre job of preventing another attack.  Travel to NYC, San Francisco, Los Angeles or any other city and you will see that ports are unprotected, bridges poorly guarded, and large entertainment media facilities unprepared for another attack.  Just the other day, I read in the Los Angeles Times that fire and police agencies still do not communicate on the same air frequencies.

Overseas, rather than chasing al-Qaeda we have focused on nation building in Iraq and Afghanistan.  Arab terrorists must be happy to watch us waste our resources in battles we cannot win.

There seems to be a light in the tunnel as conservative Republicans have questioned our purpose in other nations.  It appears we are starting to learn we cannot steer world affairs.  There is hope!

Forecasting the Worst and Hoping for the Best

A New York City taxi is stranded in deep water on Manhattan’s West Side as Tropical Storm Irene passes through the city, Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011 in New York. Although downgraded from a hurricane to a tropical storm, Irene’s torrential rain coupled with high winds and tides worked in concert to flood parts of the city. From North Carolina to New Jersey, the storm appeared to have fallen well short of the doomsday predictions.

George Will on “This Week” questioned the hysteria that was promoted by the news media although admitting there have been some very high tides.

I have noticed that weather forecasters seem to emphasize the worst possibilities.  After all they do not want to be accused of not warning of the worst case situation.  Here in the San Fernando Valley the forecast for today is 108º F.  Yesterday the temperature reached 106º F.

It’s better to know the worst situation and be prepared.

David McCullough appears on Fareed Zakaria GPS

Listen carefully to the words of David McCullough. He points out the use of the English language by our leaders. He points to Canada as an example of what America seems to have lost.  He points out the difficulty of being president of the United States especially in the 21st century.  If you think it’s easy just look at the color of President Barack Obama’s hair in just 2 1/2 years.

Press 3 for Arabic

Something is terribly wrong here!

I cannot verify all of the information below but the “Press 3 for Arabic” is accurate.  Click on the Michigan web site below.

THE CAMEL’S NOSE IS OFFICIALLY IN THE TENT IN MICHIGAN!!! 

Muslim men are allowed to have as many as 4 wives. Many Muslims have immigrated into the U.S. And brought their 2-3-or 4 wives with them, but the U.S. Does not allow multi marriages, so the man lists one wife as his, and signs the other 2 or 3 up as extended family on welfare and other free Government programs!  Michigan has the highest population of Muslims in the United States. When President Obama took office the United States paid several millions of dollars to have a large number of Palestinians, (All Muslim), immigrated here from Palestine. Why? I have no idea, do you! We don’t pay for other persons to immigrate here, and I’m sure that some of those Muslims moved into Michigan with the large current number of Muslims already established there.

So now in Michigan when you call the Public Assistance office you are told to “Press 1 for English. Press 2 for Spanish, or Press 3 for Arabic”!

Every time you add a new language to an American program it requires an additional number of persons fluent in that language.  To process those persons who refuse to learn English in order to live here is an additional cost to the taxpayer! Why are we even allowing persons to immigrate here who cannot provide for themselves, and putting them in our welfare system?

This is quite alarming!!! This seems to have happened clandestinely, for, as far as I know, no public announcement, or opportunity to vote on this was offered to the American people. They’re just adopting an official stance, and very likely using tax-payer money for it, in various capacities, without public knowledge or approval.

The following link takes you into the State of Michigan Public Assistance page, (as in Food Stamps etc). You won’t have to scroll far before you see the assistance-letters options for…(get this)…..English, Spanish, and ARABIC !!!

When did the ARABIC option sneak into our culture? Will we soon have to listen to our governmental offices, stores, and other venues offer us the option of “pressing 3 for ARABIC?”

The Attorney and His Lexus

 

A very successful attorney parked his brand new Lexus in front of his office, ready to show it off to his colleagues.

 
As he was getting out, a truck came along too closely and completely tore off the driver’s door.
 
Fortunately, a cop in a police car was close enough to see the accident and pulled up behind the Lexus with his lights flashing.
 
Before the cop had a chance to ask any questions, the attorney started screaming hysterically about how his Lexus, which he had just purchased the day before, was completely ruined and would never be the same, no matter how any car body shop tried to make it new again.After the lawyer finally wound down from his rant, the cop shook his head in disbelief. “I can’t believe how materialistic you lawyers are,” he said. “You are so focused on your possessions that you neglect the most important things in life.”

“How can you say such a thing?” asked the lawyer.

The cop replied, “Don’t you even realize that your left arm is missing? It was severed when the truck hit you!”

“OH, MY GOD!!!” screamed the lawyer, “My Rolex!”

An Obviously Gay Flight Attendant

My flight was being served by an obviously gay flight attendant, who seemed to put everyone in a good mood as he served us food and drinks.

As the plane prepared to descend, he came swishing down the aisle and told us that ‘Captain Marvey has asked me to announce that he’ll be landing the big scary plane shortly, so lovely people, if you could just put your trays up, that would be super….’

On his trip back up the aisle, he noticed this well-dressed and rather Arabic looking woman hadn’t moved a muscle.
‘Perhaps you didn’t hear me over those big brute engines but I asked you to raise your trazy-poo, so the main man can pitty-pat us on the ground.’
She calmly turned her head and said,
‘In my country, I am called a Princess and I take orders from no one.’

To which (I swear) the flight attendant replied, without missing a beat,
‘Well, sweet-cheeks, in my country I’m called a Queen, so I outrank you.

Significance of the Debt Ceiling Debate

America is heading for a crash landing. The extremists have taken control of the government­. Unless the Wise suddenly come out of the shadows, the United States is doomed as a world leader. This nation is looking more like Mexico where a group of oligarchs control society and most people are on the edge of starvation­. Oligarchie­s are the historical pattern to maintain a subservien­t and servant class of people. That is our current direction. Like sheep, we are being taken to that place.
